2nd TTDI U20 Open CC 2023 - Top 10 U20 & U12 Players will be awarded Points for WPKL YOUTH CIRCUIT 2023/24 - Circuit 9

( 2nd TTDI Open U20 Chess Competition 2023, FIDE-Rated )

The Kuala Lumpur Chess Association(KLCA) have on 1st November 2023 agreed to accord
the U20 category competition of the 2nd TTDI U20 Open Chess Competition 2023 as  one of the circuit i.e. Circuit 9 and last circuit in 2023 for its 
2023/24 WPKL YOUTH CIRCUIT (FIDE-Rated).

This accord is given ONLY to the U20 FIDE-Rated competition.
The organisers will apply for event to be FIDE-rated.
The endorsement is Not Applicable to the U-12 (NOT RATED) event.

As such, Top 10 U20 and Top 10 U12 players participating in the FIDE-rated competition will be awarded points for the WPKL 2023/24 Circuit Points Standings to close 2023.

Points will be awarded as follows:-
CHAMPION - 10 pts
RUNNERS UP - 9 pts
THIRD - 8 pts
4th - 7 pts
5th - 6 pts
6th - 5 pts
7th - 4pts
8th - 3 pts
9th - 2 pts
10th - 1 point


Registration will only be opened AFTER the organisers have received endorsement from MCF for the event to be a FIDE-rated competition.
Upon endorsement, Early Birds who registers by 15 November 2023 only need to pay:-
 RM45(Rated Player / Normal: RM50); or,
 RM65 (Unrated Player / Normal Fee: RM70)

In the meantime, players are welcomed to Register their interest via WA to 011-5699 2525.
ONLY 25 Unrated Players with FIDE ID will be allowed to register.
